Spirit
"We are a very competitive, scrappy young team," Coach Dan Nelson said. "We have improved in strength and flexibility, thanks to Coach Rado, who leads the strength and conditioning program, and in team cohesiveness. Having a two-day overnight tournament in the beginning of the season really was fun for the guys and allowed them to start the season off with a great team experience."
This year the boys' volleyball team has had four seniors, Brant Russon, Nathan Lan, Matthew Salud, and Sam Ahn.
"We have some incredible depth on the team and most of the players are now juniors. For our seniors, I wish them all the best and my hope is that they were able to enjoy their time playing the sport and will continue to do so!" Nelson said.

Legacy
As the volleyball season concluded, Carlmont congratulated its players for their outstanding performances. Kevin Tomita received the League MVP award, while Will Won and Sean Murphy received first-team honors. Eric Fadeyev and Cyrus Wong earned second-team recognition, and Eli Nathan received an honorable mention. This season, boys' volleyball was a Norcal Invitational Rancho Costate Tournament Champion, CCS Division One Champion, Norcal CIF Division Three Champion, and an undefeated PAL champion.
"We grew a lot as players mentally by being able to strive in tight situations. We hope to improve next year by becoming more technical as we are an undersized team compared to the top-ranked teams," Tomita said.
